Bourns® Series Dual-Winding Shielded SMD Power Inductors are for use in SEPIC topology in DC-DC Converters, LC filters in Class-D Audio Amplifiers, and TLVR topology of power supplies.

As an industry leading supplier of power inductors, Bourns' latest inductor technology, the dual-winding shielded SMD power inductor, is made for Single-Ended Primary-Inductor Converters (SEPIC) topology in DC-DC converters, LC filters in Class-D Audio Amplifiers, and Trans-inductor Voltage Regulator (TLVR) topology in microprocessors. A dual inductor occupies less board space as a single package and is more cost- effective than two individual inductors. The dual inductors increase energy efficiency as less power is lost. These top performing SMD power inductor components for SEPIC, LC filters and TLVR, are broadly used in communication equipment, audio devices, notebooks, desktop computers, servers, and data networking systems.

Bourns® Dual-Winding Shielded SMD Power Inductors are designed with magnetically shielded construction for low radiation emissions. The magnetic shield of the inductor keeps radiation to a minimal level for applications where a low noise environment is essential.

The Bourns® Model SRF0703, SRF0703A, SRF1260, SRF1260A, SRF1280 and SRF1280A Series allow for multiple configurations: parallel, series, dual-inductor and transformer. Through external wiring, a dual-winding inductor can be configured in parallel or in series to achieve many different selections of rated currents and inductances. These inductors have a high-coupling coefficient that is also suitable for 1:1 power transformer and common mode choke noise filtering applications.

The Bourns® Model SRF1010DA Series is a two-in-one design. Two inductors are combined into one package, and each one is manufactured with a metal alloy powder core by molding technology featuring high saturation current, and low DC resistance. These components are well-suited for use in LC filters in Class-D amplifier applications, reducing the impact of total harmonic distortion and noise (THD+N) to achieve better audio quality.

The Bourns® Model TLVR1105T and TLVR1005T Series are 1:1 ratio transformer type dual inductors that possess a primary winding and a secondary winding. These inductors are designed with high magnetic flux density, including  the unique core shape that allows for both coils to sit in one package. These TLVR inductors are developed to handle large transient currents in a compact space, which is critical in the latest TLVR structure being considered for microprocessors such as CPUs, GPUs, and ASICs.
